Enjoy a Healthy Pregnancy Diet

Enjoying a healthy pregnancy diet without stress and confusion is possible if we defer to nature and common sense. Also be sure to ignore most of the mainstream nutritional advice out there today that often tends to be short-sighted and always changing its mind (remember when eggs were bad for you and then they weren't?!).

First and foremost, eating should be enjoyable: pleasing to your senses and nourishing not just to your body, but to your mind and spirit as well. There are studies that show food is actually assimilated and utilized better by the body when eaten in a positive emotional state!

It's also important to shift from any negatively-charged ideas of a "diet," which can evoke images of restriction and guilt. When thinking about pregnancy and diet, imagine freely and intentionally choosing wonderful, healthy foods that will optimally nourish you and your growing baby.
